Here are some resources to start practicing stenography. I used these applications about a year before I officially registered for Mark Kislingbury’s Court Reporting Academy. I wanted to make sure I was really interested before I poured money into this endeavor. I love that they are completely free AND you can use your own personal mechanical keyboard, which will be converted to steno layout:
